An intimate Nashville Songwriters in the Round experience.
Join us for the Center’s annual Bird Songs, an intimate musical experience with Nashville songwriters in the round to benefit the Avian Conservation Center.
As in years past, the program will feature some of Nashville's most talented singer-songwriters performing in the spirit of the famous Bluebird Café, sharing their songs and the stories behind them while celebrating good company with a fine Lowcountry meal and lively bar… all accented with beautiful birds of prey as your hosts. The performer lineup will be announced in the weeks to come.
Now in its tenth year, this event has become known as one of the most unique musical experiences in the Charleston area. Presented in the round with extra attention paid to the seating plan, the artists will be so close that those seated on the front row will literally be able to enjoy the performance with their feet propped up on the stage.
"This evening was so much fun, and raised money for a very worthy cause. The birds were great, as were the food and guests. And, the music was like Austin City Limits in the woods!!"
