About this Property

  • 5 Bedrooms
  • 4 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home
  • Approximately 3200 square feet

This extraordinary home is difficult to describe in words so please check out the video after the second picture of the slide show of photos at the top of the page.

Spectacular ocean vistas from every bedroom as well as outdoor hot tub and private pool are only the beginning to the seemingly countless amenities that come with this oceanfront home on the best beach on Sullivan’s Island.

The roomy deck wrapping around three sides of the home creates porches off every bedroom. When not calming on the beach, by the pool or in the hot tub, you can appreciate the full-sized pool table or prepare-out on the deluxe gas grille.

First Floor: The first floor features a humongous open area kitchen, den and dining room with an entire wall of windows facing the ocean. Having the huge kitchen attached to the den and dining area accepts for guests to savor cooking, eating, or playing pool while overlooking and listening to the calming sounds of the ocean waves.

Down the hall are three bedrooms - one king (K), one queen (Q) and two twin bunk beds (TT) – which share two and a half bathrooms. All of these cavernous bedrooms have sliding glass doors opening to the deck or screen porch overlooking the beach.

Second Floor: The second floor offers one king (K) and on equeen (Q) size bedrooms, a full bathroom, and modest living area with a couch bed. Both bedrooms open onto a second floor deck complete overlooking the ocean.

The home has freshly been modernized and includes three flat screen TVs with Apple TV, two DVD players and digital cable. This ideally-located oceanfront home will take your beach vacation to a new level!

One of the families that owns the home lives a mere two blocks down the beach and includes two very responsible teen daughters who appreciate kids...so our nearly in-home babysitting option can provide a giant benefit to families traveling with kids.

We take pride in offering friendly local knowledge about the area we adore so please don’t hesitate to ask for suggestions or recommendations!

Tips to get the perfect Sullivan's Island vacation property experience:

Get the best value:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in the Sullivan's Island area. To find the best vacation home within budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Look for your local Sullivan's Island visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines have discounts for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Filter your rental search:

  • First, have your family decide on date ranges and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Classic Beachfront Sullivan's Island Retreat with Pool & Hot Tub has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, call the property management company before you reserve the rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You'll need to work out what configuration is best for your vacation group.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you must reserve a rental that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a specific Sullivan's Island beach you love, search for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Tips for a smooth stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Save the instructions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents quite a few issues.
  • Lock your rental while you are out. Keep your property safe!
  • Note any damages to the property during check in, and immediately contact the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a great vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
